Join Aspire’s Life On My Own team, and other young adults, for a week-long day camp to learn skills that will help you live independently in the future.You’ll have the opportunity to meet new friends, visit new places and even have a day in downtown Chicago.

We’ll spend each day at a different place in the community learning about and practicing important skills, including:

Safety skills
Budgeting and money management
Public transportation
Social skills
Job search and retention skills
Volunteering and self-expression

This camp is for adults with disabilities ages 18-30 who are thinking about someday living on their own or with a roommate and want to learn more about what life on your own is all about. Aspire’s experienced life consultants will be there to guide and teach you.

LOMO Summer Camp
Date
: June 20-24, 2016 in the Brookfield/La Grange area
Time: 9 am -2:30 pm each day, with Thurs, June 23 being longer for a trip into Chicago!
