Join the Aspire Team to learn about Life On My Own (LOMO), a groundbreaking independent living “teaching” program for adults and young adults with disabilities. This is the only program in the country in which once completed, individuals lead a completely independent lifestyle.

WHEN: Saturday, August 1, 2015
WHERE: Brookfield Zoo (8400 W 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513)

You’ll have the opportunity to meet LOMO team members and see firsthand how we work together with individuals. Real-life experiences we’ll be working on at the Zoo include: transportation planning, decision making, time management, money management, relationships and safety

SCHEDULE
10 a.m. – Meet at the Zoo’s South Gate, and then enjoy the exhibits

4:30-5:30 p.m. – Tour the LOMO Teaching home and Q&A Session with Team members

*You are welcome to join for the whole day or parts of the day
