Medix Leads “Dress for Success” Workshop at Career Academy

(September 13, 2018) – Medix, a large recruitment firm headquartered in Chicago, visited Aspire’s Career Academy on September 13th to host a “Dress for Success” workshop with Career participants.

Because Medix is a leading recruitment agency, they have an eye for how to dress for success on the job! Five Medix team members held a series of three workshops that discussed professional attire, how to feel confident in your clothing at work, and the do’s and dont’s of dressing for an interview or a day on the job.

Participants practiced outfitting a mannequin with appropriate work attire and then listened to a presentation on dressing tips and guidelines. The group then ended with a fun and spirited game of “Professional Dress Jeopardy”!

All 16 Aspire participants had a great time and felt they learned something new and valuable. Aspire is grateful to have wonderful partners like our friends at Medix who embrace and further our mission of inclusion for people with disabilities. Together with partners like them, we’re better!
