“Receiving this stamp of approval from such a respected organization speaks volumes about Aspire and our team,” said Herb Washington, Vice President, Aspire Kids and Aspire Careers. “Assessors said they were so impressed with Aspire, that had they not known better, they assumed we were already accredited,” added April Dislers, Vice President, Aspire Living.
When Aspire partnered with CQL to pursue accreditation, we undertook a rigorous process to review and improve our supports and services. We assembled an amazing accreditation team that spanned across programs, enterprises, and supports to undergo a six month journey towards accreditation review. The review covered roughly 300 standards that organizations are judged against, and from the first day until the last, CQL reviewers were impressed by what they read, saw, and heard.
Aspire has been awarded CQL accreditation as a result of demonstrating proficiency in the following areas:
“CQL commends Aspire for its success in increasing the quality of life for the people it supports. We are pleased to partner with them on this journey of ongoing organizational transformation,” states Mary Kay Rizzolo, president and CEO of CQL.
The Aspire team is grateful to CQL for this honor, and to the multi-enterprise, multi-functional team that worked tirelessly to help us reach this milestone. We are excited to be able to continue improving our services for the 1,000 people with disabilities at Aspire, and see this is as just a start!
