On January 7, 2023, Aspire partnered with Disney Theatrical Productions and Broadway in Chicago to put on a sensory-friendly performance of Disney’s THE LION KING. Aspire’s team of accessibility specialists provided sensory guides, character guides, social stories, activity rooms and more to all individuals in attendance. They trained staff and volunteers to help ensure an inclusive and welcoming guest experience for people with disabilities and their families.
We hope everyone that was able to join us enjoyed the experience and we hope to offer more performances in a supportive and judgment – free environment like this one. A special thank you to The Cadillac Palace Theatre, Disney Theatrical Productions and Broadway in Chicago for making this event possible.
