Can you believe we are nearing our two-year milestone anniversary of Aspire and NorthPointe Resources coming together as one organization?

As we approach this milestone and after much thoughtful reflection, Aspire’s Chief Mission Officer, Dina Donohue, has made the decision that now is the time for her to move on to her next adventure. Over the past 18 months, she has led the team that works with you – our dynamic friends and supporters – and move our mission of inclusion forward. We’ll miss Dina!

But Dina is leaving you in good (home grown) hands! We’re excited to announce that Maggie Hassler, our Senior Vice President, and Kristen Hermes as Vice President will be leading the team.

Drawn to Aspire by a passion for telling stories of people who are not always seen or heard, Maggie joined Aspire early in her career. She helped launch Aspire CoffeeWorks, share Aspire’s mission nationally on The Today Show, and was a critical player in the success of the Aspire and NorthPointe Resources alliance under Dina’s leadership. Aspire’s mission hits close to home for Kristen, who has several cousins on the Autism Spectrum and a few friends who were in Special Education at her high school. Joining the team five years ago, she took Aspire’s Big City Night gala and Giving Tuesday campaign to new, record breaking heights with your help!

“There’s something really special about Aspire.” Kristen says.

Maggie agrees saying, “That something special is what we all want – a community where every person belongs. We’re excited to work with you to make our shared dreams a reality.”
