Associate Board’s Sunday Funday Breaks Attendance Records

(October 14, 2018) – Aspire’s Associate Board of young professionals hosted their annual Sunday Funday fundraiser on October 14th at popular Chicago sports bar Will’s Northwoods Inn.

Together with the help of a record-breaking 200+ attendees, they raised over $18,000 for Aspire’s inclusive initiatives to build a better Chicago community for people of all abilities!

Guests enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of networking, raffles, great food and football as they gathered together to celebrate Aspire’s mission of inclusion. Several members of Aspire Living’s community homes even attended to show their support (pictured left)! Karen Kusch, a longtime Aspire Careers and Living participant, spoke to attendees about the impact Aspire has made on her life and how her Aspire team helped her find success in a job at Mariano’s. Aspire Board Chair Gary Kobus also informed guests about some of Aspire’s recent accomplishments and goals for the future.
